Yard Progress & Weekend BBQ

Mike and I have been putting a lot of work into the yard this year. Mike finished building a fantastic patio in the back corner of the yard. He also turned the horse shoe pits so those sitting on the new patio are in better position for heckling the players. On Saturday I put in our garden (tomatoes, broccoli, onions, beans, squash, cucumber, watermelon, & peppers).

After working so hard we decided it was time to celebrate with a BBQ. We had a couple of friends over and had a great time enjoying the yard. Even the dogs had a great time at the BBQ. My friend Steph brought them a special doggie dessert called Frosty Paws. Frosty Paws are little cups of dog friendly ice cream. Needless to say they all LOVED them and even tried to eat the paper cups the ice cream came in.
